eDOCTOR 2.0

About eDoctor 2.0 - Supported by Islamic Development Bank

After a break of 12 months, Now in 2025 eDoctor is taking a fresh start as 2.0.

eDoctor 2.0 salient features:

1) Not like its earlier version, in which

  • Specific time to connect for the lecture, and given limited time to ask questions.
  • Program was running in batches, taking a minimum intake of 150 trainee to make the next batch, and duration of the batch was 6 months.
  • These were bottle neck for many who wanted to join in between the running program.
2) After passing out these certified eDoctors had no opportunity to do hands on practice in clinics or hospitals in their home towns, or for overseas there was no opportunity to start practice, due to in-country exam and its pre conditions

Only option was Dow University Karachi, where eDoctors who were interested for hands on were given 3 months of rotation and clinical attendance with patients and senior doctors in different wards.
